How Does Solar Energy Work?
Solar modules are made of silicon mixed with other materials (such as phosphorus and boron) that generate positive and negative electrical charges. This is necessary because both positive and negative charges must be created to generate electricity.
What is the DAC Rate?
The “High Consumption Domestic” rate, also known as DAC, is the most expensive rate of the Federal Electricity Commission (CFE) for the domestic or residential sector. Free yourself from the DAC rate. In domestic rates, when consumption exceeds the limit allowed in the area, it is classified as DAC. This causes the Government Contribution to no longer apply, and the price per kWh can go up to $3.70 pesos. By installing a solar system, your bill will automatically reflect the changes.
GRID-CONNECTED SYSTEMS
This model allows us to show how to generate our own electric power and inject the surplus into the CFE grid through an interconnection contract under the Net Metering scheme.
